I installed it on an FJ Cruiser. If you want to pm me for the details of what to expect the differences are between the fj/4Runner and the Tacoma are. 17219DDE-0C5A-4CFE-99E5-BFB7E0B6962E.jpg

Can you run these rear shock mounts on a long bed with gas tank in stock location?

I've posted some of the information on previous posts here. I've been reluctant to post up on this thread because I didn't want someone to mis-read one of the posts confuse a situation where it doesn't fit up exactly on an application that it isn't intended for. Harry's been putting out some awesome products and as a whole the take away should be that when installing on an application that its designed for, you will be hard pressed to find a better fit. I'll add you into the other discussion.

@81Trekker take your time with the steering pump stuff. Got a call this afternoon that my trailer is ready about 3 months early. So I need to find $5k to pick that up in the next few days. Couple of cc’s should cover it for a few weeks while I sort out my new job situation. But looking forward to being able to turn the 37’s in the near future. Real short romp yesterday felt amazing as far as things feeling tight and right goes, but turning from a stand still is a touch worse than before. As expected with the extra shaft and what not, and it did turn, just a hair more effort then before. At this point strength > ease of turning since I know there’s a remedy in the works for that.

It looks like you may just need to run custom filler neck plumbing. Not sure on the stock bedsides. Already modified mine with the 4Runner filler neck tube when I went with fiberglass. upload_2020-11-12_20-43-52.jpg E1894472-7454-443B-BCA4-501951C6C75C.jpg

Honestly if I think I’ll end up keeping leafs for a while I’ll probably retrofit that rear mount/ shackle to mine sometime next year. I beefed up my hangars but hate dragging them all the time
