I've got an appointment on the 17th. They told me no more that 1/4 tank. I don't know if they dump what's in there and then replace it when the job's done. We'll see. They said 4 hours for the job and hopefully I can get a loaner and just pick it up the next day.

They will have a gas caddy that they can pump the fuel out with if they need to. Since they dont have any diesel vehicles, the gas caddy should have just gas in it.

At the VW shop I worked at used the same caddy for gas and diesel, so they couldnt pump it back into cars when done.... but I had a 1989 BMW 325iX that ran on unicorn farts and anything flammable... So I would pump diesel/gas/oil/trans fluid mix into my tank and the damn thing would run just fine once it warmed up.

I’m always open to suggestions, but how do you takeoff or land without flying below 500’?

When enhanced ground proximity warning and terrain avoidance systems first came out, I got to do some high speed low altitude flying with general dynamics. It was a blast!

I think you have to sneak in and out of the airport. Just don't let them catch you.

LOL...They you know. If you're flying that close to the tower, you're in a Top Gun movie, crashing or on a strafing mission over Bosnia......or south Detroit. Ahahahahahahahha.

I judge all my bolt tightness by the forehead vein method. One forehead vein popped, tight. Two forehead veins popping, really tight.
(bust a vein in your eye is like phucking "man up tight" Ahahahahahhahahaha

How in the world are you getting 385 'Distance To Empty'? Did the LED's get you there? lol. I get 295, at best with a full tank. Have a 2020 TRD OFFRoad AT V6 DBLC 4x4. My driving is all highway, between 72-75 mph on cruise control.

Moved hanger to other hole. No need to buy parts. There is another hole just to left, put hanger in that hole and you can use latch to hold cap, and it’s free. D4E8694E-7FAC-473F-BB03-307D3C9CE5E3.jpg

I spent a lot of time in various types of helicopters below 500', many times at night, into and out of LZs and flying as an AO. Nothing like it.
