Yep. There use to be a problem. Actually that employee that use to weld up those skids no longer works with SOS. So no issues since!

But I understand! I’m sure other companies are doing BF sales right now too

OK, so I got an email in but I figure I'll ask here as well.

What's the disadvantage to not doing the exhaust reroute in real world terms? I know that you gain clearance. I know that it provides a flat belly. I'm just trying to decide between ordering the stock version or the reroute, even though I haven't done it yet and for warranty implications (about two years old and 13k). Will I get hung on that slider hanging down or could I power through it? I assume I could change my mind later and order the flat one.

I was just going to order the front skid but seeing people comment about the T-case I might be rethinking that.

So my exhaust rattles a little bit in that belly, I didn't do a reroute.... I'm going too, but I probably will not replace the skid I have. Other then that... it is not necessary to do not a game changer or deal breaker.

So you have a flat or a humped skid?

I did the reroute because the the exhaust actually is a restriction under the trans.

It’s not much. But it is a restriction on the driver side exhaust.

I’ve heard guys complain about the non flat skid getting hung up as well. I run a flat set up.

Humped skid. I think the rattle might be gone now.... when I pulled the skids and then remounted. Got another rattle going on cause I busted the welded in nut on the cross member :anonymous:.

I appreciate the feedback. I haven't taken this thing offroad yet because I want to get things protected first. And once you are in a system you have to see it through.

Leaning toward saying fuck it and going with the full set with stock exhaust and changing that out if I find it to be an issue. Even at $1000 for the full package and sliders it will still be less than I spent on woodworking tools last BF. :spending:

Wow. I saw from a few other pictures it wasn't that noticeable but I legit couldn't tell on that one. That solves that question as well.

I got the one with the hump. No reroute here, and I don't really see changing it.
