So coolant overflowed out of the reservoir and spilled out onto the engine bay? Just to make sure I understand.
Mine is still doing it, it just runs cooler because of the clean radiator.

I would start with a full coolant flush and thermostat and see what happens. In a feat of educated guessing I bet your thermostat got stuck and caused the not-moving coolant to boil over because it wasn't moving throught the system.

Coolant just sort of burped out and ran down, didn't really spray all over the engine bay.

Yeah that happens to me sometimes. Whenever your truck is cool and nose up, open the radiator. Top it off with some Toyota coolant. Then just leave it be. If it does it again then I would coolant flush, change thermostat, etc. I say this because it’s not overheating so it may just be a weird freak thing that fixes itself.

 Any idea about that fan rubbing the shroud? Here's a pic of my wicked ziptie trail fix and the coolant spill marks.

Hmm, seeing those pics now I’m not too sure. When my coolant has overflowed, it just drops down onto the skid plate. It appears yours is on top of the hose and the fan shroud as well. Something is amiss.

If you want to try the thermostat and coolant, we can do it here.

So if the reservoir is burping, thats def not good. Unless you recently replaced the coolant and fucked up your refill, its a very not good sign usually.

Might take you up on that.

    Haven't replaced the coolant.

Wait, I just thought of something. Start with a new oem radiator cap. It gets overlooked and can let the system pressurize too much/let out coolant too early. A new one helped out my issues a lot.

The actual radiator cap? (and not the reservoir cap)

Reservoir caps do nothing but stop splashing. The radiator cap matters.

What they said. The radiator cap holds pressure in the system.
