Did you see any good hills for sledding? We usually go to the Hyak snow park but want to find a more secluded area this year.

Once the snow flys, you won't be able to make it anywhere near lost lake. The road becomes a snopark starting at the stampede sand and gravel turnout. Just past the yakima river bridge.

I saw a nice spot along a trail near green water the other year but can't remember which one to save my life. Just a smaller hill and was pretty deep so no subarus would be able to make it. Maybe we'll just go exploring.

there were just a few spots but they went from the Cascades to Palouse Falls trail to the road so not sure if traffic would be an issue.

yah last year, when we went this road had at least a 10 foot pile of snow blocking it. It was already getting deep and it’s just getting started. Lots of people were turning around.

meh 12-6 play again and the whirring rotation passenger side wheel bearing probably is gone again. Any recommendations other than just oreileys? This one only lasted about a year

I've got 6 inches on the ground now at my house and it is coming down pretty good still. I went out to see the horses about 7:30 to give them breakfast and put blankets on them (like idiots, they stand out in the snow rather than under cover). I had about 2 inches of fresh overnight then. I've since shoveled a path on the back deck twice, ran the snow blower to open pathways to the barn, and around the house, brought in a couple wheelbarrow loads of firewood, and I have another inch and a half on part of the deck I haven't shoveled again. Hook a tow rope up to some tubes and have somebody drive the truck around dragging them. You can go sledding uphill...

One thing to consider is inquiring if that part had the lifetime warranty from oriellys. If it did, and you can run without the truck for a few days, have them replace the part at their cost.

Don't forget that sometimes people grenade their rear diff out there too.

I am considering that but I also am not sure I trust these for durability. This one lasted a year with the other side seeming fine still. Considering going for the Detroit axle ones off Amazon.
