    yo tacodan,

i went to go check out that trail today, its still there, took the whole trail, took me like 40min, there also other trails that broke off the main but i stook to the one i rememberd, it was kinda fun, nothing hard at all.

nice scenery, a lil river(or just a bigg paddle of water, wouldnt even consier it a river lol) and there are couple lil view spots but nothing more than just more mtns tho.

there isnt snow at hungry valley right now. I camped last night and 4x4'd today up in los padres national forest (take forest roads SW into the mountains from lockwood valley rd.) and there IS snow up there. I think we were prolly at around 6-7k ft elevation and there was snow all over, just not very deep.
