And no pushbutton start, proximity sensor, wireless charging, tpms and other things that really shouldn't be a factor as to MT/AT. A friend bought a 2020 mt and it has the same or fewer features than my 2017. Although I think it has adaptive cruise

Yep exactly thats what I meant when I said "seems like there are some strange differences between the 2021 auto trans TRD OR trim level and the manual trans TRD OR"

It costs more to put quality and reliable transmission for Toyota, so they have to sacrifice other gimmicks :D

Anyone here got friends working for Mazda dealer? :anonymous:

Our brakes use two. They are cheap at Napa. I may have some extras in the parts bin. Wouldn’t be worth your travels though based on the cost of a new one.

I still have the pin so it's a matter of bending it back. Problem solved.

Ask for Cody at the dealer and tell him Brent referred you. He's finance manager now but still sells a bit (applies to the rest of you I guess).

I'll let him know I'm referring someone, maybe my name will get you something worth while, maybe not.

If I can figure out the DM on this forum ill send you his number.

Toyota designed the pins to have a tight fit with the brake pads for some reason. If you straighten the existing pin, you'll want to drill out the holes on the pads slightly oversize to make sure they don't bind up on the pin (which would cause uneven pad wear). Lube the pin up with your favorite pumpkin spice caliper grease.

Story of my life. I got my diff in yesterday and driver side axle in today and torqued what I could. Tomorrow is passenger side axle, driveshaft and re-torque. Fluid Saturday and time for a drive! Only been like 3-4 months I think.

could work. As mentioned they are snug fit.

Was playing around in Techstream reading all the different data files and snooping around,
Hidden under the SR5/Airbag -> Utility there is a data file called "Vehicle Control History"

from the first key turn to today it has a history of every time the brakes were hit hard, gas was stomped on, VSC/TCS events etc.

Lol Shity picture... This gets stored in the Nav system some where... non erasable in Techstream...

    IMG-1146b_352923c74b1f6e6b31c88ee5f5c2c5d1f8eae37a.jpg

TCS/VSC events also stores the individual wheel speeds, vehicle speed, steering wheel angle, gas pedal position, brake pressure and if the brake pedal is pushed....

This information is what is used for the driver's score in the 2020+ Tacoma. (as well as your trip data)

Forget "Big Brother" even the '16-19's are like a little brother (gonna rat you out every time you have some fun!)
