Looks like Cade's Cove. Plenty of Black bear and turkey last summer but hardly any deer. The animals really come out if it is foggy(smoky) or misting.

The mount itself measures roughly 2” off the back wall after installed. The max trax themselves sit roughly 4” off the back wall when mounted and that’s counting the spikes on the boards, if I’m understanding your question correctly. He also makes a mount for 4 boards that sticks out further  I’d message him and ask some questions

You are correct, this time we didn’t see any bear or deer but a ton of elk and turkey

He is a Hurricane Harvey rescue, I was never a small dog kind of guy, however, my wife wanted a small dog for company, for whatever reason, Toby (his name) chose me to be the alpha and he is like a shadow. Post Covid I work at home so we are together most of the day and he goes pretty much wherever I do. He's a great trail and camp dog, loves the outdoors, and has become a great companion. 842DF9FA-773F-46A1-85ED-CB4A05565559.jpg

I added a tether on to my ARB air coupler pacifier so that when it gets ejected, I won’t lose it in the depths below.

I drilled the mounting tab on this out to 6mm (it was between 5-5.5mm before): 4 Pack Full 316 Stainless Steel... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07TCS5J82?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

I removed the rubber cover that I was using to double up on the pacifier.
