Don’t feel bad, my suppressed 11.5” gun gets cleaned maybe every 1200-1500 rounds, even then it’s not a thorough cleaning. My(former) 11B buddy hates me for it, he can’t stand how dirty my AR’s and pistols are.

Ouch. My 1SG made our company clean wrappings for 3 days in shifts no more than 4 hours of sleep, non consecutive, until it was "satisfactory"

    BTDT lol
    I'm 11B and I can't stand dirty weapons

So, how does one purchase a BCM product if everything is consistently sold out?

Mil clp is not really great for cold but still. I haven’t lubed a rifle outside of crew serves since fallujah 2. There’s a difference between combat ready and armory white glove ready. Anyways here’s a link that some might find interesting

I signed up for their in-stock email notification, then got a notice literally the next day the upper was in stock, and bought it.

Weapon check in day Fort Polk. DS checked weapons wearing white gloves. He could strip a M16 in the blink of an eye. Found a bit of carbon 3 times. He reassembled in 2 blinks, made me drop and give him 20, take it back to my bunk, strip, clean, reassemble, back to present to DS.
Now my AR gets a clean bore if I feel like it, and it can run dirty til it pukes. Not a single malf yet.

I haven’t seen that stuff in a long time, my grandpa used it a lot but my dad doesn’t, I don’t think he even has any in the shop.

Meh fireclean itself as a lube is fine, seeing as it is mostly a canola oil based lube.

Fireclean as a company...I'll never deal with. Bunch of liars selling an over priced product (imo). But they also took a lot of flak that was spread by a competing company too

Is that really a thing? Oo but no

I use it in unsuppressed guns. Not 5w-30 specifically but motor oil. Suppressed though....would cause a sneezing fit lol. Not sure exactly why only suppressed guns do it (besides the obvious more gases in the face)
