Do toggle switches not exist in automation? I can only find the push button stuff.

 

Just know that industrial relays can have many different voltages going through them, what powers the coil is separate from the contacts.

 

Their not popular cause push buttons set up for 3 wire control are safer in most cases.

 

Are they momentary push buttons or do they stay pushed in? I don’t recall the terminology. I’m just looking for a simple on and off application here.

 

Momentary. You use relays to "seal in" around the start NO button. Read/Watch videos on 3 wire start/stop circuits. They are the basis of all automated circuits.

But for what youre doing, some selectors would work fine and look industrial and you wouldnt need a dump truck load of relays.

 

I’d need like 45 relays haha. What does a selector look like?

Ive got to hit up the automation place when I got time. Probably not for a while though, I feel guilty every time I walk past the 300zx.

I can hook a your lights to contactors and tell each one to turn on via a RO point with the controllers i have lol

Not really... you could get what the industry calls an HOA (Hand Off Auto) switch and depending on the configuration of the contact blocks in the back you could make it do what you're looking for
