Hey, anybody with LT have issues with the outer tie rods contacting the lower control arm at full lock/droop?

It does not seem to be the issue if i flip them driver to passenger.

hmm I don't remember that. But I think I had it like the lower photo. Shouldn't be an issue.

Hmm maybe I had it normal:

Different angle. Dont mind that weird nut, its just temporary holding the tie rod.
Granted these angles are extreme and the CVs aren't happy about it.

Too many trucks and mods to list.. check builds
with the wrong side on you'll contact the wheel.. unless your running wheels with weird offset/a custom spindle.

other side is on. The steering stops were cut so it does not gouge the LCA. Ill check wheel fitment tomorrow with them flipped.

The wheels won't fit. I think I tried that as well. That said my lcas show no signs of rubbing from the tie rods

I accidentally installed mine reverse of what they should be. They only contacted the tire weight and not the wheel itself. I think those wheels were 4" BS

Anyone by any chance know the part number of the energy suspension bushings that fit the ome CS046RA/B leaf spring rear mount. I have all red energy suspension bushings and OCD has me wanting to keep the theme going.

Today I replaced a stupid failed PCB hose that was causing a whine.. a whine that I mistakenly thought was coming from the throttle bottle. So now I have the new hose and a cleaned out throttle body + new IAC valve gasket I replaced in the first try of fixing the whine. Oh and I flushed the brakes fully today, it was a good day.

OK, maybe a dumb question: '98-00 headlight housing - is the OEM lens plastic or glass?

I ask because I could swear that on my (still original from 2000) housings, they are glass. However, when I look at aftermarket replacements (TYC), they are plastic. Is that just because they are:
    1. Cheap, aftermarket? (are there more expensive, but not as $$$ as OEM) that are glass?)
    2. No one makes glass anymore?
    3. Even the original housings from 2000 are plastic and I'm just a dummy?
The reason I ask is that when I put LEDs in, I had to cut up the rubber boots on the back of the headlights. I'm going to try some OSRAM bulbs again, so I either need
    • new rubber boots (~$40 each with shipping) or
    • new housings (~$60 with shipping
My current headlight lenses seem pretty clear, but I'm sure they've been sandblasted over the years, and it might not hurt to get new lenses. ...but maybe it's better to keep the originals, if they are glass and the new ones are plastic.
