On my 1st gen I used longer than stock wipers for more coverage on the windshield. Is there a "mod" for the 2nd gen or at the stock wipers actually sized so it covers the whole windshield?

I bought a second set. A) I want a backup set. If I’m in a place I need chains, I’m fucked if they break. B) If the shit gets REAL bad, I have enough clearance to run them on the front long enough to get the fuck out of whatever dumb shit I’ve gotten myself into. However, I’ll have to be careful. This was my test fit on the front. They’re contacting the cab mount on level pavement at full turn. I’ll have to get the cab mount chop and try again before I do a lot of silly shit in the snow. But I can get out if it gets bad as long as I make real gentle turns and go slow.

Figured it out. Made a little bracket that ties in with the license plate.

I rolled my 2008 in snow. Luckily it was a slow roll and not violent. Brought me back to rollover training in the military. Saw it coming and said the magic words: oh Sht. extracted myself and others just like training. Just pissed at myself for having it happen. Glad you are ok.

On this topic: From @AaronArf :
92% of americans say "oh shit" before going
into a ditch. The other 8% are from georgia
and we say " hold my beer and watch this shit!"

Long bed gang! Love your rig, especially the color. My 4Runner I had before I bought the Tacoma was a blue like that

Installed seat heaters, should've done it years ago!

My brother and I have been working with each other putting them in everything we own. In some cases we've integrated them into factory switches or a 3D printed switch panel in one case. In some cases we've installed everything as a package in the seat and put the switch next to the lumbar adjustment or power seat switches. That's the simplest and quickest as you only have to run power to the seat. That's what we did for the Tacoma and I put the switch in front of the lumbar adjustment knob. The aftermarket pads are much hotter than most factory heaters I've found.
