I had a recruiter hit me up for a startup job this week. 50 pct pay increase and infinite responsibility increase

recruiters are so hit or miss. I had one that did a lot to find me a good fitting job. Then I had another that signed me up for a phone interview with a company without telling me jack shit about what they did. Google told me they were looking for someone with a totally different skillset and waaaaaaaay more experience. I ended up just getting on the call and telling them there was no way I was a good fit.

Ended up finding a job through a friend.

Absolutely hit and miss. I worked with several but none of them turned up anything viable last time I was looking

Ended up finding my current job because I saw an ad looking for Xbox app developers and got curious. Checked out the other opportunities at the same company and saw one that was a fit and applied

It’s punishing, yet infinitely rewarding. Definitely a lot of work but hopefully all the work will pay for itself.

Practically same whether you're selling an app or selling a kid.

If it takes off hopefully I’ll never have to sell a horn again in my life. Although I’m saving some time for that.
