AR-15 BS Thread

I did. Seems that if a buddy is with you in your car and the MP's smell pot, and find it on your buddy, YOU get an A15 too! Loss in some pay, busted back a rank.... E3 to E2 lol. And weekend duty as well. But I found out Sunday morning you are allowed to attend the worship place of your choice... turned out that was my platoon SGT's off base house. His wife make an outstanding Southern breakfast.

 

The other A15 I got was for Drunk and Disorderly conduct. (Me and a Buddy were Fighting in a local bar with some local boys).
Weekend in jail and loss of some money from my massive E3 paycheck and Extra Duty. in 1979.

 

I never got an Article 15.

1975 for me. Good times! Not. It wasn't all bad, but 'hurry up and wait' I am not good at. I was not a good soldier. Drafted too, last 1 to get drafted in my county before the draft shut down.

Wait.....DS at Ft. Polk?? When the hell did you join, Vietnam era? I worked with two older guys who went to basic at Ft. Polk before going to Vietnam, and the freaking stories they had!

 

Me neither, it’s not very hard to NOT f@& up.

 

Nam conflict ceased while I was in boot.

 

I forgot to mention that I was assigned there from 08-12 (not to JRTC) and talked to some co-workers who were pointing out the old wooden buildings where they lived and stuff like that.

I was intel, so not for us smarterer soldiers.

 

I've always thought that every swingin' dick and split tail should spend at least 2 years in the military. USA would be a better place today.

 

I was in Signal and performed a lot of secured messages and morse code. You spelled smarter wrong smart guy
