It definitely is! and without all the weight in the back, the rear is super high.

@Nimble9 @Arcticelf @Gunshot-6A does anyone know the difference in 5052 and 6061 aluminum sheet? Also looking for a decent price for something along the lines of 36"x20" 1/8"? I found something on ebay for about $57 shipped. Not sure if its good. I figured 1/8" is thick enough to be sturdy, yet thin enough to be cheap?

Ultimately looking for something for the side of the front of the bed. I will cut myself (I havent measured, but I guess 48"x24" ?)

https://www.thomasnet.com/articles/...um has a higher, without much risk of breakage.

5052 will be find for that application. It's a little harder, and you don't care about heat treat anyway

5052 would be better for your application I'd wager. Better workability, smoother skin finish, and easier to weld. 6061 is slightly better in corrosion resistance, but at the expense of basically everything else.

ahh ok. I dont have room for that one. Mine is basically full. Have a couple drawers for random junk, that could have a better purpose. Its probably smart to just keep what I have and maybe reorganize. I also want to get in on the Milwaukee tools - especially that 3/8" right angle ratchet. But I just bought a Dewalt 1/2" high torque impact last year. Its useful for a couple things, but not everything. I dont want to have 3 different tool brands/batteries to charge. I have Ryobi 18v too, but theyre getting old. Maybe the switch should come soon

Currently running yellow and red; I'll only run either of these leaning more towards red:
