Heading up to go play. I'll report back if 2wd lo is cool. Im sure it can come in handy in certain situations

I did this to the OEM mount... an old Marlin trick for OEM motor mounts.
Drilled a hole through the mount, added a bolt and nylock nut leaving a bit of play. Have never torn up the trans mount.
    Cheap insurance.

Yep, read about that back in the days from p4x4... I rather keep it stock or do what you did vs going HD or bombproof. MC/TG mount will last and prevent the drivetrain from twisting and rotating but the mount do not provide enough rubber to help absorb vibration. I hate the sound of vibrating the dash to pieces.

I use it all the time, especially when trail riding with a group of folks. They're not moving fast enough for me to get on the gas and go and at the same time, slow enough that if I don't slow down using the vehicle's weight, I'm always on the brake. Throw it in 2lo and pace along.

Also, use nylon washers too. The stainless units rattle too much. The bolt will find its place over time and does not make noise but those damn washers rattling around sucked.

Or wire the ADD unit to a switch on the dash.

2wd low was useless until I locked the front end and went to 37s. Now I use it all the time because my steering overheats quickly.

Your not really moving anything, you are just putting a 2 way switch in instead of using the senor on the tcase. I had to do this when I swapped in my lefty when I was IFS.

Put in the thingy they call "solid axle" and you wouldn't have to worry about lbj, spindle, bj, etc because you won't have any :lalala:
