For those who have installed the Matt Gecko LED bed lights, do you know if these can be installed without the header rail or is that needed for installation? Thinking about getting this kit for my truck. Thanks

    working on it... :-)
Bought a China knock-off PRO a few weeks back. Finally got a weekend off to install it. Liked that I could get the lettering color-matched to Quicksand. Trouble was, the grill did NOT have the proper attachment points for all 3 screws to secure the 'Y' letter!! I had to fashion a fix from a piece of plastic and rig it together to properly secure the 'Y' to the grill. >:-(

Also added a slick TRD emblem to the bottom right corner for a pop of color. Despite the added bit of work involved it was worth it for the MUCH lower cost versus buying at the dealership. And a certain amount of pride in overcoming a defect of sorts to achieve a clean end result. Even though the fix was quick & dirty, it is invisible to the eye from the front. Turned out pretty nice, if I do say so myself. Love the look: superior in every way to the fugly chrome stock grill.TRD grill project.jpg
Now just gotta wire up the Raptor-style smoked amber insert lights and she'll be good to go.

I had the recall done last Tuesday. Showed up with a tonneau cover, full tank of gas, and the back seat folded. They didn't say a word.

Installed a steering wheel cover. I like the color as it matches the Barcelona Red pretty well, but I'm not sure if I like the added bulk it adds to the steering wheel. It would probably bc ok for pretty much everyone else here since you're 99% dudes. I'll try it for a month and see how I like it.

I could be wrong but it looks like its upside down? I usually see that stitched band centered on top, whereas on yours its on the bottom. In any case its nice.
