Don't waste your money on any of the stuff you have listed, IMO it's all junk. Shoot it with iron sights until you can afford some good glass. As far as a less expensive scope, try a Nikon Buckmaster or a Burris Fulfield II, either can be had for under $200.00 and are pretty fair for a .22.

I voted for the BSA. I used to have an old one and I didn't have any complaints.

Your right, a good old rule of thumb, spend the same on glass as the cost of the rifle. If you don't won't it perform well, buy cheap glass, and what ever you do don't try different type/brands of ammo. I had a BSA that came on a used 10/22, I had to tape a ten spot on it to give it away. Here is a shot of some of my 10/22s.

not sure which scope I have on mine but I know I did not pay more than $30 for it and it has been on the gun for about 20 years. It is a 3x9 and holds the 0 that was put on it. It is best to go someplace where you can look thru the scopes. The 22 will not jar the scope like a center fire rifle will so they will last a very long time. If you need to know anything about a 10/22 then you should try www.rimfirecentral.com

RFC.com is a GREAT soure of info on all that is .22s. Yeah, your right about the recoil of a .22, but what about light transmission. If your shooting beer cans in the middle of the day almost any scope will surfice, at low light hunting situations, is when a real scope earns its' keep.

t4daddy that is a good bunch of 10/22's ya got there. If you look at my photos you can seey other 10/22T. The target under the 10/22T was shot at 50yds with the other 10/22 carbine made in 1976. It shoots better than any 22 i have. And I have close to 40 22's

That's prolly a pretty good scope, however, there is no reason to have a "T" with a "fixed" four power. My target gun has a 6-24X42 Weaver, I won't to see where I'm shooting. Folks I'm not trying to be a ass here, however, if your using a scope for your only sighting, why not get a nice one you can have forever?

I've killed more game with my .22 than any of my other guns. Some a little over 100yds, those are the funnest little guns.
