Access Cabs Rule Double Cabs Drool

No earthly use for 4 passenger doors. My traveling companions generally were two Great Danes and my tools. One in front chin on the dash the girl dog in the back on the platform generally asleep I made after removing the stupid little box. I'll take the longer bed any day over 4 doors! My access cab doors are smaller so I open the front pop the latch close the front load the rear without beating up the car next to me plus it looks better than a pretend big truck!

Regular cabs are for the real men. The ones that prefer the company of other men over dames.

 

My truck is for me alone and not for carrying people so my access cab is perfect for me. I even opted out of the rear jump seats. The suicide doors are awesome.

 

Is this real?! Are they doing the single cab again?

 

My preference as well, too bad they quit making them. However, I would disagree about the company, my preference is my dog over anyone, lol!

Haven’t heard from many double cab fans beside the DCLB boys. I guess they cant think of any reason why their trucks are cool

People like what they like, doesn't mean one is better than the other.

 

DCSBs are absolutely everywhere. They sell them by the dozen every minute. No one who owns one sits there trying hard to think of why it’s cool.

It’s kinda like being a metal head and writing an essay about why Iron Maiden is great. It’s a waste of energy, because you are stating the obvious. However, if you are a huge fan of Celtic Frost, you might have to argue your case with the normies.

 

I love My double cab . Access cab was to small . No room to put grocery's,luggage or whatever u want back there . Plus you have storage behind the Seats and under them . the seats come down and u have a platform. The access cab has none of that . You still think the access cab is superior ?

 

Salesman was SHOCKED I wanted the Access Cab vs. the Double. The smallish bed in the Double was a deal-breaker. That and if you want 4 doors and a tiny cargo area just get a 4Runner. All kidding aside, I think the Access just looks better from multiple angles and the rear seating area(while not comfortable for long trips) works in a pinch and allows me easy access to my important stuff from the driver's seat.

The MAIN reason, however, was to haul these babies to and from the lake without much overhang(with the tailgate down they only extend a couple feet).

 

There’s a whole bed to put all the stuff, if you wanted interior storage space why not get a 4Runner?

 

also the access cabs jump seats flip up out of the way for All of your storage needs. The under seat storage boxes are the same size in both cab styles. And 2 2x4s and a half sheet of ply nailed together gives you a platform. Simple and easy
