I have the Alpha all black on a Speedway Blue... Not quite the same, but...

 

I finally assembled my Bravo!

 

I am still waiting on mine, but just thinking has anyone done anything to lock the Truss rack to prevent someone from stealing them? I live in a downtown area, so I just want to protect as much as possible.

 

I feel like it would be a hell of a job to steal that from the bed of a truck, especially with loctite on the bolts.

I always make sure to lock my tailgate

 

I am putting it on the Retrax XR with TSlot rails, so it would be a T-Slot locking nut or something at the end of the rail to prevent it from sliding out.

Im wondering if you could give me some info on the scene pod mounts.

I need the mounting depth, along with a overall size of the frame (printable template of the light would be great)


I am looking to mount some in my OEM roof rack, but I want to make sure they will fit before I order 4 of them.

@upTOPoverland do you guys have a picture of the fairing with the universal 40 inch cut out?

 

I just checked mine. There is enough clearance vertically in the slot to the side plates that my load bar had settled down and were chafing the roof of my truck. I loosened up the screws and was able to move the load bar up enough to regain clearance.
With that, I'm going to see if I can find something to shim the bottom of the slots to keep it from happening again.

Suggestion: a better description and pictures of this fresh air option, as well as the various different cut out options (for the various lights) would be helpful on the website for those of us that are not 1st-hand familiar with your racks. I really like the product, but it is hard to determine what options I need...
