I've got one or two friends other than my wife that I go with. We do a lot of local hiking and camping. We hike at CNC a bit, clifty Falls in IN and camp at AJ Jolly, no hiking but good fishing and car camping. We are always up for another. I do like to take a trip for good hiking and camping a few times a year. Where do you mountain bike at?

Nice! Asheville is a great place, I plan on moving there one day! It'll be a while though lol. Went camping in that area a few months ago!

I'll look into the GSI's more.

I just lost my headlamp that's why I'm looking for a new one lol. I'm surprised I had it as long as I did. Doing some camping right after Xmas, so I need it soon.

nice! I have never been to those places.

I usually bike at East Fork and IdleWild in Burlington. Waiting for it to warm back up to go try out the new Devou park.

def. look into the GSI's they are more expensive but they are worth it. they are lighter too.

very nice. My riding season was cut short (summer) after me and a tree had a dispute at 20 mph. My back just hasn't been the same since. Had to do P.t. and all that wonderful stuff. Got the bike out once after that about a month ago but that has been it for me. Hopefully next season i am healed up and ready to ride.

I have been lucky and all of my crashes and bails have been nothing more than cuts and bruises. Hope everything heals up so you can hit it again next year.

When camping i use a 20 degree bag, tarp for the ground, tarp for overhead and para-cord. the weather dictates what type of roof i create and how high it is above my head.

check out today's woot.com deal SOG Outdoor Gear - 3 Piece Set with Nylon Sheaths for $39.99

no i do not get anything from them, just passing it along and wishing i could take advantage of the sale myself.

I scored a perfect REI Quarter Dome T2 at the used gear sale today. $59 bucks!!! It's basically brand new. Both tents cost me 59 and 89.

Yeah both tents are complete. I think set up time for each tent was like 10 mins. Now that I know how to get them set up I can do it in 5. They are awesome. I even got a footprint for the half dome. I am debating on camping tonight with my new gear at the REI in San Diego! I also got a REI Zen +10 sleeping bag for $59 bucks. I also got a Yakima roof rack with Q towers and 58 inch bars for less than $20.

I might just sell it...I still need the correct clips...but I could not pass on the deal. It has locks too. New this would have cost me 300. I am looking to get a basket and likely getting a new Tacoma one that BajaRack is designing
