You'd have to ask @Mooseditty17 for the details. Or compare it to another tune file in the locking/unlocking area.

I'll be watching for this one to be released and will certainly give it a thorough testing. As usual - thanks for the efforts!

Could be that the premium tune has leaner AFR and more Ignition Advance before any ‘learning’ occurs, and it uses the occurrence of engine knock, or lack thereof, to further refine AFR and Ignition Timing? In that sense, all modern tunes are ‘octane learning’. But OVT’s performance tune simply has a more aggressive baseline?

Alright so I've been messing with torque converter and slip lock settings. With my current settings I get the torque converter to unlock in sixth with gear lock otherwise it shifts to 5th which I think I may change to unlock before shifting to 5th. With 5.29s my truck pretty much lives in sixth gear so allowing to unlock is a nice feature. Not really nessacary however because 5th gear with tc locked is the same rpm as sixth unlocked. I wonder if there is more torque with 6th gear unlocked vs 5th gear locked. Kind of a cool feature as a performance ect because it would allow a 5th gear shift to 6th with 6th being unlocked instead of going straight to lock up after the shift. No problems with transmission heat because I have a giant cooler. Now when it comes to slip lock it's hard to tell because there's no way to log it. FWIW what I noticed was going up hill, starting to ease into the throttle rpms go up maybe by 150 and I "feel" more torque before it goes into unlock state.

Got some data for 4 to 5 upshift while climbing up and my numbers did not work. The speed was 71, rpms over 3000, accel 31.6%.
    upload_2020-11-14_12-13-58.jpg

I started playing with pedal and forced upshift at accel 9.5 and speed 72
    upload_2020-11-14_12-14-41.jpg

What bothers me that RPMS are not dropping when accelerator is trending down
    upload_2020-11-14_12-16-55.jpg

I'm going to lower numbers in 27 to 50 by 10 and see if it makes any difference

Lowering locked values will make it lock up sooner, yes

Biggest difference between this and M+W is ECT PWR has more manageable throttle, 4th gear holds a little longer and 6th is all but eliminated. Drive remains the same

Sorry if this has been addressed, can’t read 395 pages...
I have the stock 2.0 flash on the truck. How do I go about adding gearlock to the tune? Or is that rolling out soon?

Thanks for the help! Really impressed with the performance of the truck already, it really is incredible how different the truck feels. Maybe it’s just a placebo.

Go into ECT PWR Shifting make the values for each downshift map the lowest value that is in that map

Got it... so in this photo, just make the circled values all read 18.429?

You'll have better results if you make each ECT map to the lowest value of the corresponding primary map

    Here they are.

The ever popular MD.87_Mild+Wild_3.1 same as before, just didn't want to be left out

All new: MD.87_Performance.Tow. Same tune as M+W when in drive, but a less aggressive throttle while in ECT mode. Also holds 4th and 5th longer and eliminated 6th all together.

All new: MD.87_Performance.GL. Same tune as M+W except when you press ECT Pwr you now have to shift w/ Smode. Still maintains crazy fun throttle settings.

Let me know what you guys think.

So how much of a donation required for a stock 04A61 version of Mild + Wild 3.1? :)
