There are vents in the rear of the cab. You shouldn't be feeling pressure.

Right. I have owned 2nd gens too, they weren't made of unicorn tear, they had shitty plastics, underfilled transmissions, and a bunch of other nuances just like 3rd gens.

They're between the cab and the box. If you close the door hard enough, you can hear them flap. These doors shut shockingly easy compared to other vehicles I've owned because of it.

Whatever makes you feel better. Can't say I've had any of these issues. Not to mention much of it is the same as the 2nd gen. As a matter of fact, there are people who swap the body panels and interior trim from 3rd gens 2nd gens because they can.

Huh, I was agreeing with you, as in neither gen or any vehicle for that matter that is mass produced is flawless.

I've worked on enough 3rd gens to know they are built like turd. I think I'll keep my 4.0 engine seeing as it won't blow up before the 3.5's will. ;)

Aside from that, I will happily upgrade, if you are willing to front the $35,000 bill for a new turd gen for me.

I saw another post about the vent... Looks like it's buried way behind a bunch of stuff .. Which I'm not gonna take apart just to 'see if it's there' kinda' thing.. LOL! (It was someone that had everything taken apart for stereo stuff) Maybe I'm just experiencing the 'ear' thing because of the much smaller cab volume of the AC over the DC? I'll have to pay attention with hearing the flap thing next time I open/close the door.

Yeah, I don't blame you lol. You should be able to see their housings if you take a peek between the cab and the box. I believe there are 2 of them.

You know why toyota wont do anything about it? Here is the reasons.

They blow off in a car wash = outside damage caused by the car wash
They blow off on the highway = you dont notice for awhile, and the part is long gone on some highway = could be outside influence, could be a failed part, could of been stolen... who knows since the part is off in a ditch on some random highway. If you show up at the dealer with the part, they may warranty it. but chances are you wont have the part anymore.

I've had mine come off on the driver's side only in the car wash. A little epoxy later and it stays in place.

Sad, but it never came of going down the highway at least.

Lol apparently you haven’t seen @12TRDTacoma ’s build. He’s no casual owner.
