Rear brakes have begun squealing-- not all the time, but only when moving <5mph. It's fairly loud. Has anyone experienced this before? 2.7l 2008 tacoma w/ 85k on it

I'm bumping this thread because I'm having the same issue with my 2020 Pro. Started about a month after my first free service. Went in for 2nd free service and told them about it. Nice a quite for about a month, now the squeal at very slow speed started back up. And, yes, I used the TW search function. That's how I found this thread.

Both my 2015 and 2010 Tacomas do this. It's annoying as heck. I'm going to do a rear brake job soon. Hopefully that will fix it for awhile.

Our then-new 2005 started doing that not long after we bought it. Usually just when cold, backing out of the driveway the first time it was driven that day. Dealer pulled the drums and lightly sanded them, & blew the brake dust out. It happened a few times (maybe several times) after that but not nearly as loud or as often. Haven't had it happen in many years now, in fact I forgot about it until I saw this thread.
