2019 he’s got a lift on it

 

Guess I have my own "once was lost, but now is found" story. About 2 months ago, I had to go to my storage building and get some stuff out. While out there, I was rummaging around in some old boxes trying to remember what I had put in there. In the process, I had pulled out my pocket knife (clue 1) to cut some of the old packing tape. After a couple of days, I couldn't find my pocket knife. I gave up thinking I might have dropped it somewhere or left it somewhere without remember where I had put it (clue 2).

Now I've been helping my mom move stuff into her new house, and she is putting stuff in that storage building. I go up to the storage building, open it up and VOILA! There is my pocket knife. In plain sight with the blade still out.

To say the least, it made my day that I had found it. I had put it down and closed the bay door without ever realizing I had put it down.

 

Thanks, I was a 80's kid and also a truck driver, so I like white letters out and chrome, lol

 

I was a kid of the 80s myself. And I can remember my dad driving those tanks (aka Olds and Caddys) with the wire wheels and white ring around the tire. Those old tanks sure drove and rode good. But hell on gas with those big GM V8s.

Im thinking you are lol'ing to my post before I edited it... I watched the rest of the video, and it takes longer than the 1.5 hours I thought they said. Toyota actually quotes it at 17-18 hours... still though.

wait wait wait... it takes them 1.5 hours to build a truck, yet it takes the monkeys at the dealer 2 hours to change the oil and rotate the tires.

 

Those white rings were called whitewalls son, pay attention.

 

Trd Pro headlights and figured out a way to install some well loved Yakima ski racks from our old Subaru Outback on the Frontrunner rack. These ski racks have been on a lot of different vehicles over the years!

 

Didn’t do anything cool, but I cleaned the batter and terminals as they were starting to corrode.

 

In my defense:

I'm at work tonight and was running the radio during a traffic accident. I got distracted and a brain fart at the same time.

Sunday's usually are our "slower" nights, but there is always an exception to the rule. And tonight is that exception.

that’s a fantastic idea. I’m going to do the same. Not necessarily as a protector. Too late for that. I’ll use it to cover the scratches that are already there.

 

Keeping them clean was always a topic of discussion.
