This one I actually don't know, what year is that? What are the arrows, oldest car I've driven was a resto-mod '37 Tudor, so modern radio in the glove box. Second oldest was a 60's I believe F100 with an 8 track but it and the radio and two of the brakes (one front one rear) were broken, that was just a farm beater though, also a stick, took both feet to push in, least it did when I was 11.

I know how to use it. My first manual was a 55 Chevy. I’ve driven a Morris Minor, Volkswagon Beetle and my last manual was a 1992 GMC Sonoma. Like riding a bicycle, you don’t forget how. But why?

Don't be hatin on my dream ride. Just 200 box tops to go and she'll be all mine. And technically that one has infinity gears thanks to its cvt which makes it much better than your puny 6sp. canyon carvers.

Most people these days don't, won't, or in many instances can't drive a stick, so when someone does they often take it as a sense of pride, in my case, or as superiority, as in OP's case it would seem.

    I like my 6MT, but it's not a bragging point, it's a personal choice.

That said one of the reasons I chose a manual is so my friends wouldn't ask to borrow my truck.

    :p

And you had an 11 inch mechanical clutch, a Borg Warner T19 4spd and an IH V8.

Hey man, no scooter hate, it takes a special kind of person to throw themselves into traffic on two wheels regardless of how. It takes a special kind of idiot to do it again after something like this:

    But I'm that idiot. :bananadead:

How about having to double clutch a non syncronized clutch that would really mess some people up

Yes, driven multiple manuals. Not that big of a challenge.
    3 on the tree
    5 on the floor
1 down, 4 up (classic Honda motorcycle)

Geesh......its not that special of a skill........

I have driven a non synchro box on a 21' flat bed,. Ot my idea of fun especially when the linkage is wore slap out and you can't tell if you're in 1st or Reverse.

I'm sure I could have learned to float the gears but I only drove it once in a blue moon and typically it was highway so I never built up experience with it.

But I've driven just about every kind of manual at least once.
