2017 Short box 4wd. At most 150lbs in the bed.

Looking for brand options for 6” lift leaf springs. I’ve already reached out to Alcan, but with the minimal off-roading I do, I’m wondering if such expensive leaf packs are necessary or if there are other options out there?

Didn't your truck come with leaf springs?

Let it sag, most things do as they age.

Not sure there is going to be much option for that much lift. What will you be doing with the truck? If just driving on road, maybe a spacer lift for 3", leafs for the other 3"?

Some install thick blocks under their current leaf pack to raise up the back. In the upper right corner type in 6 inch lift, others on the site have 6 inch lifts see what they are using.

I have 2.5” leaf packs right now, so I’m considering a 2” block

I’m staying away from a block larger than 2” but so far the only option I’ve seen on this site is custom built Alcan springs.

Another thing to consider is that with the stock leaf/shackle mount locations, 6" of lift will require leafs with a big curve and they will probably ride quite harsh. You can get some lift from a longer shackle, too, but I'm sure there are compromises to that.

I’ve looked into archive garage’s shackle but at that price point I might as well go to the custom pack. I think I’ll probably just throw a block on it for now and go from there. I can always install leaf packs myself after the lift kit is installed.
    Appreciate the info gentlemen.
