    Daaaaaaaaang. /Joe Dirt.

Looks very impressive. Especially if paired up with a set of broader driving lamps (legality aside).

Edit- a J581 thread would be great.

SS3 Max pricing back up with ship dates. Only available in fog optic kits so far. I don't see it listed in the universal applications yet. Don't see the SS3 combo optic listed yet either.

@crashnburn80 are you seeing any differences in width on the max? Apparently the pro is a bit wider than the sport. I think this is due to the overall pattern being less focused, so the light fans out a bit more.

The max intensity is a nice improvement, though I've come to enjoy the extra coverage of the pro (even with its fuzzy cutoff). Curious to see the final color and output of the yellow max with its darker lens.

I’ll get a comparison posted with the Pros tomorrow. If going with a flood optic you’ll get higher return out of the increased output of the Pro than you would with the increased focus of the Sport, since increased focus doesn’t help much in a non-focused pattern.

The SS3s have such a wide spread I haven't checked to compare between the Max and Pro. I can check that as well, though I wouldn't anticipate any significant difference. The pro may have a less well defined outer edge to the pattern but I wouldn't anticipate it being significantly wider.

I have the Selective Yellow Pros and I love them. What I'm struggling with is this question: "Are the Max's worth the extra money?" If you do the math, I forked out $300 for the Pros and the Max's are $540. Even if I can sell my Pros for $150, that's still a pretty significant chunk of change. Don't get me wrong, the numbers are very impressive and the output shots are pretty convincing too. I'll probably go for a set, but I'm going to wait for some better deals first.

Well... Unless DD pulled the wool over my eyes here, but I intend to offer them as part of the promotion as well
I can promise 100% that I will not have them on hand by then (sad I know). I already have a stocking order in, but the selective yellow is not slated for launch until the 2nd week of December. You can effectively lock in a pre-order at any time though and have some of the first hands on them! I should have my site updated soon to reflect the ability to order them.

Yes I forgot to mention that part. Even with black Friday pricing that is a very significant bump in price.

Any idea on the BF discount this year? I know DD keeps a tight leash on its sales so if you can put the percentage out there I totally get it.
