    What did you do after the last post? Restart your computer, reinstall vF, or just relaunch the program?

    The REG files come out of the UK, so there can be a delay at times. The Master Key is automatically generated from your vF order. Both messages will come to the email address that you ordered with. Be sure to check your Spam folder as messages from OVT have gone there for a lot of folks lately.

    I just noticed my axis values on my 3rd-6th gear throttle limit tables are smaller than the values below. Is that a big deal? Do I need to adjust my axis values to match or be higher than the cells below?

    Depends on what you are trying to do. Are you trying to increase or decrease throttle or tip in? If your values are higher than your axis values, your tip in would be ridiculous---hard to drive.
    Screenshot it.
    Or compare it to the throttle limit S gears (these are for Drive and S). Normal gear is for ECT.

    That throttle map is for ECT. And yes its a little high, but not unmanageable for ECT.
    Here is mine for that map. And remember this is ECT throttle.

    So throttle limit normal all gears map are ECT?

    I believe you can flash either file type from the vF flash. Even so, I don't see any reason to keep the old flash manager.

    I don't post much, but have learned a lot by following all of you and testing on my own vehicle. You state that Throttle Limit S Gear maps are for drive and S and Throttle Limit Normal Gear is for ECT.

    Not sure why, but I assumed Throttle Limit Normal Gear maps were for Drive and Throttle Limit S Gear maps for for S. This may explain some of my difficulties with these two maps.0 Guess I need to go back to the drawing board. The map naming conventions can be confusing.

    That’s exactly what I’m thinking. Because I’ve only been adjusting the Normal Gear maps and it seems to make a difference in drive. So I’m just all around confused now.

    In my experience on 04A61 I am pretty sure the Normal Gear maps affect D mode, without ECT.

    This is a huge thread, so I apologize if I missed it... but have we found, yet, how to have a separate map for S and normal drive? I'd like a comfortable map for S, an efficiency for normal drive, and a Sport/Go Fast for ECT... is it possible to separate the 3, or even just S and normal? Would be even nicer if it could be mapped for 91 vs 87

    On 04B04, Normal gear throttle map is for ECT. S Gear throttle map is for Drive and S mode.
    Sounds wrong, but check it and see.

    Currently you can only modify things for Drive and S Mode or for ECT. Third map is not yet an option.

    Make a major change, and try it. Make Normal limits the same as the Axis values. Flash it and see how it drives in D. Then press ECT power and hang on :rolleyes:
