Those "inters" turned into racing slicks. Noticed the three top finishers all had similar wear on their intermediates.

 

Anyone notice Vettel finally had the same engine tune as his teammate? Rumor has it that Ferrari normally detunes his engine about 100 hp to slow him down. You know they can't be happy he ended up on the podium.

They need any points from either team mate at this point.

 

The difference was this race engine and aero didn’t affect that much which evened the playing field

A great race to watch. I'm officially giving up on cheering for Bottas… ha ha, Cannot believe he got lapped by his own teammate. What about Leclerc going all out at the end and botching it?! Some good action.

Bottas got damage on the first lap which threw his alignment out...

Norris had a good race, two times he closed a 15+ second gap to the person in front, once Ricciardo and then Stroll, finished with multiple fastest laps in the end.

 

Oh man must've missed the damage to Bottas' vehicle, did not know that.

 

I was really impressed that there were more crashes on the way to the grid than there were in the actual race!

Driving 1000 hp cars, on that track in those conditions.... skills

All I know is when the two Ferraris are on a level playing field, the two cars will finish pretty darn close to each other. That hasn't been happening this season, until last Sunday.

So I think you're seriously gullible if you don't think Ferrari has been sabotaging Vettel this season. Just look at the pit stops...if there's a screw up with a tire gun, it's always on Vettel's car.

 

what would Ferrari have to gain by ensuring they get less Constructors points with a driver they've already fired?

 

They're already getting a bonus just for being Ferrari. I would bet that they aren't trying as hard with Vettel as they are Leclerc. Maybe not the team as a whole but I'm sure there are a few sour individuals on Vettel's team.

 

the other teams would know if one of the Ferrari's was detuned , just like how they figure out the approximate hp of competitor's cars with telemetry and sound tracing , no way that wouldn't get out there

Vettel is just having a shitty year and his driving style is not meshing with the current car

I mean I guess stupid conspiracy theories are in vogue right now but c'mon

Plus, Vettel, like Schumacher, is one of those "let me see the data" drivers...for both cars so he can see where/why the other car/driver is outperforming him.
