    I'm enjoying it so far!

Is B-Spec mode even fun? The premise of watching someone else race is kind of

And how do you get your own music into the game? I have a bunch of music on my laptop that I'd love to listen to as race BGM but I have no idea how to do it.

not sure exactly, never tried it-- first you would have to copy the music onto the PS3 hard drive, then if you go into the BGM settings, you might be able to change from in-game music to your hard drive

Trying to complete the IA license. That last race is a bitch ! One tiny mistake and you get disqualified. Bump someone, or even if they bump you, same thing.

Just got done playing GT5 at a friends house and all i can say is... WOW! cant wait to get my own copy.

There are a couple things i'm dissapointed in though:

    1. The cars still have the same generic sounding engines that have plagued the entire serise since day 1.

    2. I don't like how there's "premium" and "standard" cars. You would think, after 6 years in development, they would have made ALL cars "premium" cars, just seems like a half-ass thing to do IMO.

Other then that, the game is a pure awesomeness! :D

It's because of the stupid amount of time it takes to model a premium car. If one person was modeling a single premium car, it would take them 6 months to complete.

I check the used car lot after every race and there's always new ones there. You can even do a time trial and check it after that.

I got my girlfriend to play with me last night! We did some snow and dirt races. She actually beat me...

I did the S license on the weekend. Trick I found was to late-brake and stuff the cars on the inside.

+1 to that. At the beginning of the license test, there is a play button that will do a replay of the test. I like watching these because first, you get to see how the pro's do it. And two, the narrator will usually give tips and tricks that is not in the test description.

Also, it seems like so long as you hit a car or wall with the side of your car, you wont be disqualified. Being disqualified for ramming a car is pretty inconsistent. I've scrapped by a car, barely hitting them hard enough to scratch the paint and been disqualified. Yet I've nailed cars doing 15-20mph slower than me and not been disqualified.

Anyone have an LMP car I can borrow for the Like the Wind race series? My maxed out Corvette ZR1 is not quite up to the challenge. :(

I've considered selling some cars, but I'm something of a pack rat. Besides, the more cars in your garage, the more paint chips and horns you get.

I'm up to around $750k. Guess I'll be running some other races until I get the $$$ to buy me an LMP car.

I've seen the Audi R8 LMP car in the used car lot a couple times, but it is around 7 or 8 million.

I sold all the cars I could. Completed the AMG Special event, and the Grand Tour. After all that, I had just enough to buy a AC Cobra to use in the one race I missed. I think it was the Classic Race Car Challenge. No way I could earn 10mil credits or more to buy one car for one race.

That's my biggest complaint so far about this game..... winning purses are small compared to the amount of credits cars are selling for.

Lol, the Cobra is one of the prize cars.

I agree about the purses though, they seem way to small for the cost of the cars you need to race. Previous versions seemed to have more race series too.

Assuming it's A-Spec, the first Like the Wind race can easily be won with the Veyron (modified of course). The second race with the Zonda R (modified as well).

If you're racing Like the Wind, you probably may have these cars already, if not:
