Cali raised bed stiffeners, after installing the cali led hidden bar. I really liked how their brackets were designed, and watching videos of others, they had used all three bumper bolts, where others skipped on metal, so Ill give some love to those guys, products are nicely made!

another day of maintenance. front & rear diffs and transfer case oil change. power steering is next on the to-do list.

while I was under the truck waiting on the front diff to fill I saw some junk stuck behind the bottom of the fender liners so I started picking it out. I opened the doors & pulled up the fender "seal", there was about 4 inches worth of leaves & crud in the bottom of my fenders. I dug out what i could by hand then used my shop vac to get the rest out.

Anyone have an @ARE topper that they have replaced the 3rd break light on? Mine is really bad and I don't really want to pay a dealer to replace. (I haven't had good experience with the local ARE dealer.) It has condensation and works intermittently. Looks like the original light is stuck with some foam backed double sided tape or something. looking for any info on how to take care of it myself vs paying some incompetent techs to do it.

In an effort to burn some PTO before I lose a chunk at the end of the year, I took off this past Friday and today. Friday I got the suspension upgrade done. Saturday was shitty weather, so all I got done was the under hood light kit using KC Cyclones and @tamer ’s brackets. Sunday was spent pulling my old eBay special rock lights and replacing them with the cyclone kit from KC. Today I put the swing out back on, so I had to replace the backup lights that were mounted on my bed bars with some mounted in the rear bumper. While I was back there I updated my bed lights and added a Baja Designs light to the swing out so I have more light on my fold down “table”.

Dang! Guarantee he didn't make it very far. He may have hobbled off but he just didn't realize he was dead yet. I would have thrown him in the back and at least had some steaks for the trouble he caused.

No idea how much wood nor what it weighed, but I loaded a bed full of split oak, maple and birch and hauled it to the hunting shack. The back was loaded front to back and all the way to the roof of the topper. The guy I got it from said, "Boy, those little Toyotas must have good springs." 20201104_152523.jpg I confessed I cheated and have airbags.

    Just a few LEDs...
Long bed = 6ft. long and 4 ft. wide. Looks to be stacked about 4 ft. high.

    6ft. x 4 ft. x 4 ft. wide = 96 cuft.

A cord of wood = 128 cuft. so I'd say that's about 3/4 of a cord of wood.

Cool. I just asked the guy for enough to fill the back. He crawled in and neatly stacked it for me while I tossed it in to him. Charged me $75 for it. Normally, I just scavenge my own from logging operations around the shack but I ran out of time this year.

Got some of my retro decals on. And got my cap back from my painter. Slightly brighter, but it's a 2 week old paint job, vs a 13 year old paint job.

Backup switch went out again. I believe due to water in the switch (again) going to cram a ton of dielectric grease in it and hope for the best. (After replacing it of course)
