    I was wrong once.

    (In the ER where I work they had a "Kreg is wrong dance" that they did once in 20 years. Once!)

    Can these be mapped to say 91 vs 87 octane by chance?

    What's changed to account for a higher octane anyway? Advanced ignition timing?

    I'm not 100% on this since I haven't created a tune myself yet, but I'm pretty sure that "regular" and "premium" are based off of the original tune file from OV Tune that we get through the tune packs. So essentially we start with either a regular tune file or a premium tune file and make changes from there. There aren't any settings in vF Tuner that we can change to switch between regular and premium.

    Also, the files are octane learning. So regular is set up for 85 - 89 octane and premium is set up for 91 - 94 octane.

    Anyone, please feel free to correct me if I am wrong.

    Just wanted to confirm. I am aware I can try this myself. Was looking for the shortcut by enlisting the input of someone who had already tested it thoroughly. Again, I am thankful for all the work and sharing of ideas from the community.

    So far, for me, YES this is my favorite. I run the Premium one.
    I did make a small change. I smoothed the Acceleration Throttle Request to Airload table on both tunes.

    The Main thing that I am waiting for is Cruise Control map access. I have asked Mat multiple times and he assured me that we will get access to these in a VFtuner update. Once we have that, we will be able to stop the harsh downshift on small hills while using Cruise Control. That is really my only complaint at this time. I have good power, good shifting, and good gas mileage with MD mild and Wild 3.1

    ??? so you don't have the OBD connector and micro usb cable (goes between the OBD connector and the USB port on the computer). Anyway you cut it what you show the answer is NO. OVTune will send you the ODB device and cable - you download the software and follow the instructions. No cart before the horse.

    I’ve got my software installed and have sent out my system ID to Matt. I don’t have a laptop but a Samsung tablet/laptop “that I’ve already downloaded all software on and just waiting to hear back from ovtune”
    My question is with this computer I’ve got to use a adapter so it will plug-in.

    I had to add an exclusion to windows security. What a Process, and still can’t not get it to work on my personal laptop.
    Think I’ve got all software download and waiting on ovtune to email me the license key. I’ve sent in my system ID and then I’ll have to send in my ecu id I guess.

    If you got to the point of sending you System ID, then that is as working as you get at the moment.

    If you are an MT, you would want to do the TSB flash with TechStream to get to 04B14.

    If you are an AT, you would want to do the TSB flash with TechStream to get to 04B04.

    Those are the latest ECU IDs for the 2017s.
