Looks like the dogs were having fun

 

I did not realize I had so few pictures of Molly here! Lemme change that...

 

Molly on the back deck of our house in North Wales, PA; Either 1995 or 1996 so she was no more than a year here!

 

Molly in the family room of the North Wales house, circa 1995-1996...

 

Molly in the tiny living room of our shitty WWII-era government house at Moffett Field in Mountain View, California; Late 1996 or possibly early 1997 (we lived in this house from about August-September of 1996 until March 1997, when a larger house became available)...



What you see next to Molly on the left side of the photo is my attempt at building a fort, and if you look closely on the right, you can see me on the computer (our first computer with Windows)!

This choked me up, we all think we are tough. But at the end our feelings are bared like a raw nerve. Your black lab and BEST FRIEND says it all. Condolences on your lost.

Molly died back in December 2009 (aged 15); We finally got a new dog (rescue) named Mandy in September 2018, but she only lived to be year (not even) because she had a rare kidney disorder...

Then, right before the pandemic really ramped up, we got another purebred Lab named Porter!

At my aunt and uncle's house in Vienna, Virginia; December 2005...



The Yellow Lab is my aunt and uncle's, named Sandy; She was just under seven months younger than Molly, so Molly would have been 11 and Sandy would have been 10...

 

All of these pictures so far were taken between 1995 and 2006, and most were taken with film cameras and then scanned back into the computer; A few were taken with my mom's old Kodak digital camera (Any taken in 2008 were with my Sony Cybershot, and any from about July 2008 to the end of Molly's life in December 2009 were taken with my Fujifilm Finepix), printed, and then rescanned...

All of these photos have been taken from Facebook and are relatively low-quality examples that were uploaded to Facebook in 2008-2009, so the original files are long gone!

 

All of these photos are also scattered about in three or four different FB albums as well, so that is why I'm uploading them so out of order...

These are two more pictures from the visit to my aunt and uncle's old house in Fairfax County, taken in December 2005 right after Christmas; Molly and Sandy eagerly await scraps from my uncle while he carves the turkey; I am 99% sure that I took these pictures with my very first digital camera, a Kodak that my parents got me for Christmas that year!

In the front yard and driveway on the same day (January 9th, 1996); In one of these photos, you can see my dad digging me a snow fort, and in three of them you can see my dad's black 1993 Chevy S-10 Blazer that I practically grew up in!
