Not a concern for 1st and early 2nd Gens (no airbags). As for late 2nd Gens, the airbag deploys along the side window, not away from the A-pillar, so the mount will not go anywhere near you - see the picture below. But agreed, any mod to your truck could work against you under some conditions (e.g. lifting => higher c.g. => higher likelihood of rollover), so use any aftermarket products at your own risk.

I bought the 3-ton KRATOS during last yrs BF, Free shipping and half OFF of mount. Boy! what a mistake it was. I wanted the biggest/baddest but it turned out to be TOO DAMN HUGE/HEAVY to be carried around but def a beast! No joke!
I'm now thinking of their new 1.5 Ton TALON or the below 2 ton OG (if Tundra is in my future) with the smaller wheels for space saving vs their 2-ton BEAST.

looking for a winch with synthetic rope that will fit a first gen arb bumper. i was thinking about the HF one for 300 but with the extra cost of the rope there might be better options. anyone have ideas?
