I agree. Might have to look into different wheels. Just one less thing to worry about.

Fyi, I'm wishing I had gone 17" wheels.
Starting to look at bigger brakes and looks like I may need 17".
Have to tell you, I'm glad these are not any heavier.
Its at about my limit for lifting one into the bed of my truck.
Rear bumper swing arm for a tire carrier is going on soon.
Wonder how fun that will be.

Does anyone know if this size tire will fit on a stock 3rd gen trd OR with a 1” spacer or will it cause rubbing?

Fits stock with no spacer. Spacer will make no difference other than potentially wearing out your shocks faster.

Tires look to sucked in stock that’s why I wondering if there would be any rubbing with a spacer

My bad, WHEEL spacers, NOT suspension spacers. They should fit from what I can tell looking on my truck. Might rub a bit at full stuff but you should try it.

I'm looking to go from 265/75 to 255/85 on my 1st gen. Lift is 2.5" front and 1.5" rear. How will the Toyo Open Country MT's work in this scenario?

Got anymore pics of the truck? I'm close to pulling the trigger on these exact tires for my 1st gen.

Looks great! Think I can fit these on a 1st gen with 2.5" front and 1.5" rear lift?

I’d love to but don’t think they’ll fit and I’m not spending anymore on the lift!

    Tall and slender.
Was running them at 40 and 42 psi.
Now running them at 38 psi.
    Less bounce and quiet.
Air down to 16-18psi for the Cadillac ride while off road.

These are looking nice. I have been running BF MT KM3s and was going to buy another set but they are back ordered everywhere. From what I can tell, the Toyos are about a quarter inch taller than the km3’s... which on my truck almost rubbed on the pinch weld at full stuff about half way to full lock (stock wheels no spacers or other suspension geometry mods) Have you noticed any rubbing? Need to put new shoes on before dec 26 when we hit the desert!

    I don't rub but I have 1" spacers.
You just need the right backspacing which is 4.5 inches.
My wheels are 5.25 inches so this is working for me with the 1" spacers.
