I am starting to think about investing in an electric demolition hammer, maybe renting one if I can find a place that does that.

Dude, I explored the state and federal legality of small explosives for personal use, but apparently such things do not exist.

Much as I like Lowes, I wish we had a Home Depot, but we do have a HF!

@JimBeam - is ammo scarce at your store too? Do you have any insight on when/if manufacturers are going to recover?

Ammo is very scarce...guessing it won't recover for at least a year with most major manufacturers being over a year behind on orders

Best thing I can tell you is to buy your limits when you see a caliber you want

Don't shoot a bunch and be patient

Firearms are like everything else, we're setting ourselves up for a big time low where nothing moves...any market with a huge boom will experience an equal bust

Learned my lesson long ago. Stock up before Pheasant & you’ll have enough for geese later.

Very true.. maybe when I move in to a bigger place with some additional storage next year, I'll be able to aptly stock up on some necessities.

I would suggest yall start stocking up on things now such as repair parts, lowers, and magazines...not just AR mags either...handgun mags over 10rnds

    Don't wait until they're threatened

My buddy works at a sporting goods store and was able to refill all my dwindling ammo supplies. Sportsman’s Warehouse in North Charleston has .40, 9mm, 5.56, and 7.62 but they limit to 2 boxes and no bulk ammo. I stocked up on mags when I built my guns. My AR9 that I built for $400 in February now sells for $999. Crazy.

One coming to Anderson too.. right off of I85 exit 21. I heard Buccees is going to drop some serious money to re-do the exit/entrance ramp so that it can support the increase in traffic.
