Edit to get rid of the 3D printer parts. My co-worker and I were talking about it and turns out he has one. Sweet!

Staying on the crafting subject though, maybe a rubber hobby cutting mat, or some paintbrushes.

You could just search the forums by member too though. Posts are just restricted through the profile gateway, not the whole site.

That’s true, you can - or use Google to search for their username and add site:TacomaWorld.com but that’s just more work.

    My wishlist?

Easy.. My hobbies are RC crawlers, collecting patches, and a scary obsession for lawn care. Tools of any sort never hurt! Beef jerky, something cool from your home town, whatever! I'm down for anything.
Forgot to mention. It may not help you now, but pretty much anything from chemical guys! I’m big on detailing my truck and the wrx!

Wishlists are always hard for me to figure out. I mostly signed up because I like giving stuff.

I am a paramedic who works for the national park service, so anything safety related or first aid related is out as I probably am covered there.

I am getting back into scuba diving and need a lot of the gear.

Scuba weight bags $4 I probably need 10-15 pounds of weight. These bags come in various sizes.
    https://www.leisurepro.com/p-xsswpc...6655f2e561aa1603d2d7ad40ca600987&gclsrc=3p.ds

I also do the ham radio thing. I am an amateur general class ham. I don’t have any of the HF gear yet. I am pretty set on VHF/UHF stuff I have five UHF/VHF radios. @m603holden is a good guy to ask about what kinds of cables, grounding straps, and connectors and things I will need to start with an HF mobile setup (I want mine to eventually look like his). I don’t expect a radio or an antenna. But, the connectors and coax are cheap.

This is a connector that allows one to run an antenna cable inside without drilling a hole in the historic national park home I live in.

    I like chik fil a.

I wear a size large shirt and I like Hawaiian shirts. My dog and I wear matching Hawaiian shirts to parties.

I am really trying to cut down on my drinking... especially around the holidays... but if you insist, I like IPAs and I miss toppling Goliath something fierce if you’re in the area. Liquor is a super bad idea. Thank you for understanding.

I have a ten year old three legged dog with cancer. Her name is Cacao. Her knee was torn apart at the joint by a fast spreading tumor. We spent most of the summer trying physical therapy for the knee when we thought it was just a torn CCL (nothing showed up on labs or imaging yet). Then she spent a month bedridden in excruciating pain while we waited for a surgery slot. Now she’s two months post op and acts like a puppy again. It’s been super difficult as we are inseparable. I am one of those pet parents that plan vacations around my dog. We do very few things apart. I don’t go to many national parks because most aren’t dog friendly for example.

anyway... she like toys that hide smaller toys? She once had a plush chicken coop toy that hid a lot of small plush chickens. She really enjoyed pulling the chickens out of that toy. I haven’t been successful finding any other toy that she’s been that interested in. She wears dresses to chemo. She also enjoys freeze dried chicken hearts and the Himalayan dog bones and treats. She has a lot of chemo to go and you could also donate to her care at VCA mountain vista in Las Vegas.

These are her current measurements that I sent in for her last dress.
    Size: Large
    Chest Measurement: 28
    Length Measurement: 21
    Neck Measurement: 19

Here are a few pictures of the dog, work, and the truck to get an idea.180ACA7C-34F6-470E-A19D-82107683650F.jpgA6C2D01C-1407-46B1-9D4B-9DE75CB02DA4.jpg43107F71-65F9-409F-A3E8-FE3953B2710E.jpg365EB58D-CF4C-4FC5-A271-524E3DFAAAFD.jpgB27EE6B0-B7C8-4DB8-9C22-A705B5EF49AA.jpg

Signed up for TWSS for the first time this year and I noticed this wishlist thread. I'm kind of shocked by the wishlists I'm seeing. Seems people are asking for some seriously expensive items like several hundred dollar items. How about a GoPro? Seriously? How much is one expected to spend and are you allowed to reach out to your recipient?

There are no expectations. This is a truck enthusiast forum filled with adults with truck enthusiasts interests. You're not required to get anything above the set limit. Some people have the affordability to give more, others don't that's ok. There's nothing wrong with posting up and list of things you want and seeing what comes out of it all. Not necessary to lambaste the thread.

Not lambasting just making an observation and asking questions. You sound offended by my inquiries. Sorry

I noticed that too so just listed a bunch of random stuff. I thought of it more as interest. Ask for a GoPro maybe you get mount or a shirt but yah prob stems from Bill Gates hiding in the Reddit secret Santa every year and some one making out like a bandit.

Seems more about the receiving than the giving when I look at the lists. I would never wish for such expensive items.
