    ?? only way to know if the adapter / computer connection will work is to go a head and give it a try - you will need to do this to identify your ecu. Plug adapter into computer and obd device to your truck's obd connector - be sure to (with foot off brake and be sure all devices such as radio fan,... are off) then press the start button twice (electronics on and engine off mode) then identify button on software screen - that will show you your ecu id. if that works then you are golden for vFTuner, and completing the registration process. GL.

    I like that the mild and wild shifts sooner under mild acceleration and holds the gears long during more aggressive acceleration. Mat got negative feedback from the vocal minority on his premium tunes when gears held longer then 3500 rpm or so, but that is where the power really starts getting made in the 3.5L. With the extended redline, stock gears and stock wheel diameter you can hit 70 in 2nd gear.

    You could, but why go through the frustration and wait when you now have all the tools to do it yourself? Not to mention being able to do any Customizations like turning off the seat belt chimes.

    check @lapoltba signature block - maybe someone close to you that can assist. Completely understand on how confusing all this (OVTune/vFTuner and Tech Stream) can be. Dealing with a Stealership that has zero interest in doing TSB's is just another one of those things that should not be the case. Hope you get assistance because 04B04 should be your first step in this process. GL.

    duuude, so I've been breaking in the 5.29 gears (i'm at 240 miles on them now, so getting there!), and I had to do about 20 highway miles this morning. Still rocking a slight variant of M+W 3.1 Prem, and I threw it on cruise control at about 65mph. now this trip had some mild hills, and for the first time EVER, the truck didn't shift a single time in cruise control. it was the most amazing feeling ever to get some uphill velocity consistency in 6th gear. mind you, 6th at 65 mph was something like 2200 RPM, but i still got like 16 mpgs on the trip. i can't wait till i can start testing some heavy acceleration on these gears.

    I hear you brother. I have tested mine and up to about 68 mph, cruise control works fine, even on hills. But once you go over 68, it will downshift to 4th on all hills. It’s definitely better than stock, but can be fixed. I don’t mind if it shifts down to 5th and goes from 2200 up to 2500 rpm to get up an incline. I just don’t like how it is now. It’s coming, we just gotta be patient I guess.
    For now 68 it is... if I’m in cruise control.

    The last hill coming up to our neighborhood requires 4th. Cruise at 68 mph will kick down to 3rd and scream along at 4500 rpm for a mile. My adjusted shift points will hold 4th, but not accelerate in the mid 60's without a downshift. Gear lock in 4th will allow me to accelerate up the hill. Can't wait for the CC shift point adjustments!

    If the adapter does not work, then you might need to use a USB C universal docking station. They are relatively inexpensive on Amazon or Best Buy. I use them a lot since ultralight laptops don’t have many ports these days.

    A couple days ago I threw some cash at Mooseditty17 and asked for a M+W for ECU 04A61. I figured he'd given up enough time, recommendations, and free tunes that he deserved some drinking money, and you know he spent some dollars on gas testing his stuff. It's one thing to spend an afternoon helping a friend on his truck, it's another to spend hours and money tweaking a tune. With no webinar in sight and my lack of knowledge on tuning I knew my limitations and decided buy a tune from him. I'm here to say it's money well spent. Mild allows me to drive in regular traffic with predictable shifting, no transmission clunks, average trans oil temps, and 22+ mpg with 70% interstate at 70-80 mph and the rest basic driving around town. The added bonus is for a regular tune running 89 octane the power is there. Then the wild side - well that's just plain fun and made for driving when the wife isn't with you. Most of us throw some cash at accessories, mods, etc. to get our tacos to the point where we want them. Do yourself a favor, give AJ some well deserved reward for his time and what he's given back (And continues to do so) to the community, and put a smile on your face. Even if you want to continue your own tweaking imho his tunes would be a better starting point than 2.0.

    @OVTune ,
    Hi.
    could you please assists with this issue? In the past you mentioned to update acceleration shifting tables, but I have not got anywhere with them. It does not matter which way i move numbers, the outcome is the same.
    Accelerator is going down, RPMs stuck in 3K, truck would not upshift. Is ACIS affecting this? It seems the upshift happens when ACIS is turning off.
    Are there additional settings that may help with it? Thanks
