I wish I could go back in time and buy myself a digital camera. I have very few pictures of my vehicles because I didn't get a legit camera phone until just before I got my Taco. I miss my Subarus just for how fun they are to drive.

 

"Hey boss, I'm feeling fatigued and short of breath. Do we have a thermometer?" *takes a drink of lemon juice* "Wow, this is good orange juice, want some?"

If any of my guys did that, I'd probably give it to them just for being clever.

 

I was originally gonna sell it to fund the truck parts but told myself "it's payed off you idiot keep it"

 

I'm generally a good employee so I could dip out early with sick time if I wanted to. I wouldn't have any other reason to use it. (I never call in on snow days, it's what I live for now!)

 

I blew up my last Subie. The rest is history.

 

Hopefully that doesn't happen to me anytime soon

I've been keeping an eye out for DDs and this one is right up my alley and ticks all the boxes except that it's red. It probably has other issues, like a head gasket, but the engine, transmission and body are buildable.

 

I almost bought one of those instead of my STi.

 

It's for people that want to drive like they own an STi but have kids, a dog, and need to stop by the grocery store on the way home from soccer practice.

Or for people like me who over-blow the engine, lift it a couple inches, and strap skid plates to the bottom to go "camping"

 

To be honest, I really wanted the forester of that era, with the STi package.
I honestly said I'd never own an suv, but have always loved me a wagon.
Ask anyone who knows, I've had a few.....

I think that I've owned three separate 5 door wagons. 2 XJs and an Outback. I'd consider a 4Runner if they weren't so dang expensive to get the decent packages.

 

Oh my. Looks like Scion and Toyota took some queues from that...

 

That is the only reason we bought @Mrs2Fang 's rig.
We took it in at work, it was clean and we got it cheap.

 

Wheels supposedly coming in on the 21st per DTD fella. Hopefully I get a Saturday install.

 

If you were closer to St. Louis I would say take it to Ecotech and have them look it over, they specialize in imports (mostly subarus)

If I build out my DD like I want, I'll consider driving it to them. 515 in Liberty might be good too. @Sociopenguin Do you know if they're they still open and doing business after all this crazyness?
