Cooper is very reactive, so he will wait and do whatever the states around us are doing.

460 is quite a bit larger than the 470...

Our 460 wasn't much smaller than the LX570 we had for a couple weeks as a loaner, it's just got the 5.7 and 6AT and a lot more nicerer

Need to be careful talking politics, don't want to get the stanky boot.

Need to get the wife behind the wheel of some cars soon. Probably wont pull the trigger until March or April unless a deal comes up but it'll be a T4R, GX, or LC.

either the GX or LC are going to be super smooth and have better road manners. The T4R is still a great option too since you two are outdoorsy...

She wants the T4R, has for years. Her best friend has a 17 so she has driven that a good bit. I'm just concerned we may run short on space in the future....

not in the 5th gen you won't. It's the same size as our GX460 and it's got plenty of space...now my GX470, it's quite a bit smaller; I honestly thought they were bigger than they were, but whatever it'll work for me.

So whatever the next car is, needs to be able to carry the two of us, both large dogs, and a (future) baby and all the gear that comes with said baby, plus two bikes and gear etc for a weekend trip. That's why I'm afraid the 5th Gen may start to get a little tight.

Sounds like you need a Suburban or a small bus if you think you are going to be hauling that much junk.

    those aren't much bigger.

also, you'll quickly learn that animals have less priority once you have children...you aren't going to want to haul them around.

Maybe and option. It'll be her car though, have to just get her looking at a few and see what she likes.

The Sequoia we had was my wife’s. It was the previous generation though. We took it to 206,000 trouble free miles before we traded it! We recently test drove a new one. Almost pulled the trigger but she decided on a 4Runner this time instead.
