but coastal is cheaper always as long as you're ready to do work.
I'll be getting their skids, can't beat $400 for a set of 3 skids. Half the places want 250+ just for the front skid.

But everyone has to ask themselves "What is my time worth?"

 

For me, welding was fun, so my time's worth fun, hanging with good friends and beer. Especially when at the end of it a got a sweet steel part for my truck and I learned a lot.

 

Yep, some people don't wanna do the fabricating or invest in time and tools.
There are some things that are easier to just order though......

and i feel you my scs wheels were like 1000 something i cant remember tbh and ive torn them up pretty good but i also just dont care lol now my car ill take good care of those when ever i can buy a set lol

i dont mind the trd wheels but im just not a big fan of fake beadlocks i had a set they were okay but i didnt really like them tbh

 

If I had a place and could host people over for that kind of stuff, I would 100% go that route.

 

i was looking at getting a wrx before i got my si buuuut me being a cheap person and also wanting a coupe made me go with the si lol

 

My subie had a lot of work done by the PO so it wasn't a terrible deal. New headgaskets, New clutch and trans, new timing chain. All I've done was brakes and had to get the turbo rebuilt (because I'm an idiot)

 

did you atleast go with a bigger turbo so it can make the stu stu sounds lol

and i was looking at a brand new wrx i really liked them but the price was higher then i was wanting to pay tbh

 

I didn't have the money for that lol. I MIGHT put a bigger turbo in, who knows. I'm gonna do some minor mods to it probably in the future

 

ahh i gotcha and ya i wanted a new car or at least something newer then my truck so i was gonna be paying a bit more lol

 

And i got something older with WAY more miles

 

lol if it works nothing wrong with that man

 

So far no issues since the turbo rebuild and that was about a year ago now. Granted I don't really beat on the impreza like I do the tacoma
