Yeah, I usually do chicken drums and thighs around 375/40 minutes, they're about the same size. I was only at 425 because I was sharing the oven with the wife last night.

Yeah there's a few things to do with it. If we stay here long term, my next grill will probably have that in mind.

    Fried turkey here again!

I'm actually frying 8 of them this year (so far). A bunch of families sign up, I buy all of the turkeys, they show up Thanksgiving morning and drink from an over-the-top Bloody Mary bar, I fry the turkeys while we shoot the shit, they bid everyone farewell and happy Thanksgiving, then leave with their turkey. Might get up to a dozen by the time next Thursday rolls around.

check out ATBBQ on YouTube, they've done several videos recently on the subject.

Spatchcock it, brine for 24hrs, fridge uncovered for 24hrs, 275 or 300F until breast meat is 155-160F...carryover will get it to 165F

If the grill has a removable orifice, and it should, just screw it out and replace with the proper size for NG. The burners are the same on gas appliances, they just use different sized orifices.

Still have run a NG line to it.

Yeah, that's what I meant. When we moved into our new house, which has propane, we discovered that the builder had not changed the jets on the stove, from natural gas. The flames, they were high...

We're planning on moving next year, so there is that...hopefully our next place has a covered outdoor kitchen. Right now, if it's raining I move my Pitboss to our patio to keep me from getting wet while using it lol, so it does get rolled around quite a bit.

The thing that pissed me off is that it took THREE visits from the builder's sub to fix it. The first to look at the issue and confirm what I told them was the issue. The second to come back out with the replacement jets. The third, after realizing on the second visit that the jet for the big burner in the middle was a different part number, to finish the job.

I got the comp cart for my RT, as part of the Black Friday bundle. RT still sends the standard base, so I got a SS top to make a portable table.

We've probably used about 100lbs of pellets so far. Plan to use another 20-30 over the next 7 days and then probably that again around Christmas/New Years.
