Quickfists are the little grabby clamp bits, then you can mount them on whatever you like. You could make or buy the flat stock and t-slots for the rails pretty easily.

FWIW we have quickfists holding stuff on our apparatus (EMS/fire) so they're pretty robust.

My point was that I’d rather rely on a quality tool than the cheapest solution I can find, and a tool that you don’t have with you is worthless. With a Diamondback cover like what I have, a folding shovel like that is easy to store and access.

37.75”x18.25”x14” Bought 5 of them while they were on sale at Home Depot for $15 each. I also bought some weatherstripping for a couple of dollars and stripped the lids on a couple of them. They are pretty much waterproof and fit great in the bed and on the roof rack.

Any pictures of the weatherstripping on the lids? I still can’t believe that deal that you found.

I made them myself out of some flat iron I had laying around. Cut to size, drilled a couple of holes and bought a pair of Quickfists. It works great.

Thanks! Install is super easy with these, just push down on the shift boot to detach it from the oem knob, unscrew the oem one, screw on the new knob and center it, then tighten it with the adjustment screw that's included if need be, then snap the shift boot back up into place on the new shift knob and your done.

The trim ring is the still original chrome one, but I had some "carbon fiber" style trim tape laying around from Auto Zone. I just cut a piece to fit, cleaned the chrome ring with rubbing alcohol and applied it. Hope that helps...

ah ok, thanks. I have a aftermarket one on there now and it does not use the trim ring. Looks good with you wrapping it. Maybe I will just paint mine........
