I remember my ranch living days when the Noco oil truck would come and fill up our tanks for heating oil.

I’m going to test it. The guy who came and serviced my unit and cleaned my ducts told me it was cheaper so I’m going to experiment

The duct cleaning guy said the heat pump is cheaper, or the gas furnace?

It's a tossup, depending on where you live; If you live in California, then gas is ALWAYS cheaper. If you have to use propane because there is no natural gas available, then it's better to have a heat pump for when it's more mild outside or in case you run out of propane...

Spent a lot of time in both places. My parents thought it would be best to not go to school in Hawaii. So we moved back to our family ranch.

I initially did not think the “red $25 Nissan hatchback” I saw at the auction almost twenty years ago was a Sentra; However, after googling “Nissan Sentra Hatchback” I believe it was...

The car at the auction was a very faded red and no wheel covers, whereas this one looks like it just rolled off the showroom floor and is wearing Chrysler wheel covers; However, I believe this is the same model!

This one is a bit more accurate in terms of how the car looked, though still in far better condition than the one I saw at the auction!

Found a use for the gas mask other than wearing it in supermarkets and other public places to be a goofball during the pandemic; I am sanding down some armrests for chairs at the request of the company president, and the amount of sawdust on the mask from yesterday tells me that I made the right call by deciding to wear it instead of my half-mask respirator. It also kept sawdust out of my eyes!

I’ve had the shop apron for a while but have never gotten chance to use it; I should have worn it yesterday but I didn’t have it with you and me. I brought it to work today because I’m going to a a retirement luncheon for two coworkers and I don’t want to show up covered in sawdust...

My supervisor took this picture at my request after she tied the apron strings for me.

This is why my supervisor had to tie the apron for me; This apron has an X-style shoulder strap as opposed to the usual neck strap. It is far more comfortable than the neck strap, but a bit more of a pain in the ass for me to put on.

I’ve never been good at tying an apron on my own; I worked at a bar for four years, almost entirely back of house, so some of my duties had me donning an apron for an hour or two at a time. I always wore aprons with long strings so I could tie them in front of me...

Yes, I need help tying this apron, but it’s much easier to wear for long periods of time than a conventional apron!

I scored this cool old clock radio from a coworker who got transferred; It will not turn on but considering what good condition it’s in, I think it’s probably an easy fix...
