    I notice in my 05 TRD OR auto it shifts into first awhile after the stop. Just a miniscule bump, but some people are dying to have the government save them from their own stupidity.

    Thank You!! It is just the transmission shifting into first when the pressure drops in the tranny valve body because- wait for it- You are stopped!! I am a bus mechanic/electrician and city buses with allison transmissions do the same thing.

    Personally, I think its a brake issue. Its not dangerous, but it does start creeping forward when the compressor kicks in, even when you think you have the truck braked properly. I don't think its a dangerous issue, but its a flaw. I think the brakes are soft: they are not completely grabbing when you think they are, and I think the ABS is very poor. My lat car was a Jetta that had much better ABS. I've often wanted to add stainless steel brake lines, btu a few people on forums said it didn't make much difference.
