Oddly enough that would be a factual statement, but not of humans. We we're told the property was a mink farm many years ago and part of the barn and house are original to that.

Yep, their horse damn near chewed through part of the fence that we'll be replacing next year. We knew most of what we were getting into, but it's when you start cleaning and fixing things where you see what they did and have that wtf moment? I'm sure the people who bought our CA house will feel the same, but they'll never know the state we had bought it in ourselves. We've seen older land and home photos of our place and are fairly confident that most of the crap way the people who we bought it from and not prior.

Yep it’s all the hidden shit that kills you. If we had known about half the things here like pre hung doors being supported only by trim and silicone we would have never bought here.
It’s the next owners here that will have it easy since we’ve fixed everything we’ve found to date.

Bummer. We've done the same out on the trail and luckily had a patch kit on us. Still holds air to this day :D

We just fixed one of the shop windows a few days ago that was installed upside down and we canNOT get our refrigerator pulled out from the cabinets. It's wedged in and we've tried a few times to pull it out to no avail. We'll have to strap it or potentially start dismantling the cabinet next to it to move it out.

Our new fridge is wedged in just like you describe :anonymous:

Someone prior to us living here hit a drain line with a saw in the bathroom off of the pool and just filled it with silicone and closed the wall.
Outside the theatre room they punched another drain line with screws from hanging a dart board. Had to open entire wall and do mold abatement. :frusty:
