If you look at my previous posts... I’m a weekend warrior. Love spending time with brother joe, the kids and playing with wood... when the temperature is right. After it warms up we do grass cutting. Most of the wood we do gets handed out to people in need... the excess gets sold off to keep the maintenance up on the equipment....

What size bar is that one? I was going to buy the husky 555 is in a different class than the 550 with a 24” bar. This oak we’re playing with Sunday is a big one. Love a good challenge;-)

Uncle joe and my 16 year old ... this was last year at this time... the start of the wood project. My son Christian is now almost 2 inches taller than my bother and I. Christian just had a physical so I can take him for his permit test... next Wednesday if all goes well. Hope he knows his stuff so he can drive me around! He’s already driven me around a couple of times... ;/) shhhhh2B2953A3-62CC-4485-94F3-C4DCC17B2BEB.jpg

I would like to use the saw more. I need to head in to local forest and get some fire wood.

Iv been using non ethanol fuel since day 1 and I don’t think I run my saw in cold enough weather for “winter” weight oil.

    Define "winterized"?

I run mine during winter and don't do anything different.

Other than taking the bar off and blowing off the wood chips and cleaning out the air filter ... I don’t do much after that

Not a bad idea if they'll be sitting unused for the winter.
