Does that ladder intrude into the space above when it is raised or hang down into the space below? It looks quite sturdy.

It's a folding staircase. Folds up like attic stairs and closes flush with the ceiling. So it protrudes into the loft space, but only where the hole for the staircase is. It's very sturdy -- rated for over 550 pounds.

My boss did a random act of kindness. It's a rare thing. He bought me a remote start for my taco. Dropping my truck off friday morning to get it installed. This is my xmas present from him.

    Has a range of 1500ft

Considering he only gave me 50$ last year I'd say this is a upgrade

Ive been with my boss for seven years and I received a 50 dollar Visa gift card that he got free last year from our main supplier. I turned and gave it to my warehouse guy who has a special needs daughter that needs a lot of medical care. He thought it was ungrateful I gave it away. He is a d-bag....

Why unless it is to keep warm.

Maybe keep the Dog from doing the Cold nose on your butt. I will say that gets your attention.

The second wave of COVID seems to have people buying more shit just to empty the shelves again.... I don’t f’n get it. I go to work, come home, spend time with kids, dogs and the wife, find some me time before bed and do it all over again. I ain’t got time to listen to the news that worries everyone to the point of selfishness! More beer please

Ive been working for the same guy for 10 years. Never got a thing. Well okay maybe he managed our team really well. Really well. And backed me when the vendor said X and I said “BS it’s busted now fix it.” And looked the other way when my dad was sick and I shortened my day to get to the hospital. A few times. And never once questioned me about that thing that happened that time and knocked all those customers offline and nobody *cough* knows what happened. But other than that nothing.

I was at Costco today. The TP aisle was nearly empty. WTF is it about TP anyway.

People can be induced to panic quite easy.

Thinking everyone will be at home now it will take a pulp mill running full out to supply your Toilet paper needs .

Maybe just look over here at the Hot assistant don`t pay attention to person doing the trick.

I still dont understand the panic buying. Its not like during the first "wave" of this anyone was out policing saying you can't go to the grocery store. At least on the western side of the state, we were allowed to go to the store as needed.

Morning all! Brisk ride in on the bike this morning. 26 degrees as I pulled into the parking lot. Heated gear makes it tolerable maybe even downright pleasant.

The longer that I can work from home the better, no driving in traffic, get to spend lots of time with the pups, can get stuff done around the house, can easily ignore the annoying coworkers, get more actual work done, saving a crap ton not driving 60 miles a day.:pccoffee:
