So, now after 2200 miles, the creek/squeak is coming back. :annoyed:

On the latest TSB with the updated parts? If so, I think you're the second person to say that.

Correct - I had TSB T-SB-0112-19 performed with the "updated" parts. It's not that bad yet, but it is starting to make noise when its cold...just how the original clutch pedal started.

Was your “updated” clutch pedal noticeably higher than the factory pedal?

    I'm sorry to hear that.

Looking at the detail of the molded pedal, all the TSB work involved, and such, they would have been better off throwing a bit more into the design of a better metal pedal.

The non-linear clock spring is my biggest gripe. Thankfully, my noises have been fixed with a quick adjustment for clicking and some brake grease (twice) for squeaks.

No. It appears to sit exactly like the original. When I first received the truck back, my friction point was very close to the firewall, but I bled the clutch and it went back to feeling "normal." After bleeding, I couldn't feel a difference between the parts aside form the side-to-side, wobbly feeling being gone.

The new parts don't change the pedal height or the ability to change the adjustment whatsoever. The dealer didn't do the compete procedure and the master cylinder pushrod length and/or pedal height is set incorrectly. Have them adjust the pedal freeplay and height as per the TSB/repair manual instructions.

To assist, I have attached the last step of the instructions that the TSB tells technicians to do when replacing the clutch pedal.

What was your fix for the clicking? I've just started noticing that on mine, due to maybe a little more play, after only 350 miles. Just a slightly different sound and feel...

For the clicking, I adjusted the pushrod length on the master cylinder. There was too much gap.

You just have to make sure there is some free play after the adjustment.

    None yet
Adjusting the push rod fixed both squeaking and clicking for me. I did dab some grease on one spring.

Essentially, set the pedal to the correct height, then adjust the pushrod to get a small bit of freeplay, I usually prefer for that to be minimal and like to adjust the clutch pedal to where it makes sense for the individual vehicle, especially if not using an original clutch/flywheel setup. The repair manual's specs are definitely a good place to start though, and should be where dealership technicians are setting it when performing the TSB on a vehicle that is under warranty.

My clutch pedal was squeaking so the dealer replaced it under warranty. The new one still clicks and now it doesn't push the floor button far enough to start the truck every time. Is there a way to adjust this part? I dont want to have to go back to the dealer.

Anyone know if they will still do this “under warranty” if the truck is now at 73k? lol

No. It is in the bumper to bumper period only. But, you never know if there might be some goodwill with your dealer?

So annoying when they have to know it affects A LOT of newer model manual trucks. Mine has been doing it much more after 50k
